I never know how to answer the question:
Are you pro-life or pro-choice?
My views on this serious and complicated subject do not fall squarely into the category of either ideology. It seems to me that the politics involved don’t deserve the attention they receive while the people involved don’t receive the attention they deserve.
I finally found a picture this morning that echoes some of my sentiments. I can get behind this one. Re-posted with the artist’s permission.
You say you are looking for Saviour in the dirty streets. My guestion is this picture what Christ wants us to do; or another reason for more govermental help with our lives. Maybe a more specific thought could be-Why ask Christ about this, In God We trust is on our money and where has that really got us. I really love your stuff, but sometimes too much imformation, questions, and lot of ect. make me want to look up and yell, “Are you kidding me?’
I also have a difficult time articulating my position on abortion. I appreciate your insight that the politics receive too much attention while the people don’t receive enough. I think part of the problem is that we live in a sound byte culture and there is a pressure to articulate your position in a one or two word answer. I can’t do it on this one.
